The rules of Mini Book Expo are pretty straight forward:
Claim it - Read it - Blog it
However, if you want a bit more detail:
Claim It.
- watch the blog for a book you would like to read.
- When you see one, click through to the detailed post and make sure it's a title you want to read and that it hasn't already been claimed.
- If you live outside of Canada, check that the book will ship to your country (E.g. not all books will ship to the US)
- Claim the book by leaving a comment like "I'd like to claim this one please" or "MINE!"
- Also read the post: On Claiming Books
Get it.
- we will email you for your mailing address.
- Canada Post will bring you your book.
- Shipping is being sponsored by the publisher, Plethora Press, or OneDegree.ca (Thanks guys!)
Read it.

can you really say anything if you haven't read it?
Blog it.
- Post something about the book within a month of getting it
- include a link to the author and/or the publisher if possible
- if you don't have a blog
- you can post your write-up to facebook, librarything.com, bookcrossing.com or
- email your review to lex [at] minibookexpo.com & I'll post it here for you
Let us know
- Once your post is public, let us know by:
- leaving a comment where you claimed your book
- doing a Track Back (When You Write, Remember The Ping!)
- emailing the url to lex [at] minibookexpo.com
- You could also add your review to
- Indigo.ca or Amazon.com
- Mini Book Expo on Facebook
- Mini Book Expo in the Chapters.ca Community
- or share your photos of your book on Flickr (Mini Book Expo + Facebook + Flickr)
